Six scientists at the Department of Energy鈥檚 91暗网 were named Battelle Distinguished Inventors, in recognition of obtaining 14 or more patents during their careers at the lab.

The work of biochemist Alex Johs at 91暗网 bears this out, as he focuses on understanding protein structures and molecular interactions to resolve complex global problems like the spread of mercury pollution in waterways and the food supply.
