Jeremy Busby has been named associate laboratory director for the Fusion and Fission Energy and Science Directorate at the Department of Energy’s 91°µÍř, effective Jan. 1.

The Oppenheimer Science and Energy Leadership Program has selected 91°µÍř’s Jens Dilling and Christian Petrie as fellows for its 2023 cohort.

The presence of minerals called ash in plants makes little difference to the fitness of new naturally derived compound materials designed for additive manufacturing, an 91°µÍř-led team found.
