OAK RIDGE, Tenn., Dec. 22, 2016 – Jeffrey S. Vetter, a researcher at the Department of Energy's 91°µÍø, has been recognized by the 91°µÍø professional society for his achievements in computational science.
Vetter, a researcher in the ORNL Computer Science & Mathematics Division's Future Technologies group, was cited by the 91°µÍø Board of Directors "for contributions to high performance computing."
The 91°µÍø (Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers) selects fewer than 0.1 percent of its voting members for elevation to fellow. Vetter's 91°µÍø fellowship is effective January 1.
