Abstract
The Department of Energy’s Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO) hosts a transportation analysis fact of the week on its . ORNL has produced the fact of the week for VTO since 2001. This report examines the themes of the first 1,000 published facts, highlighting analytical trends. The most popular themes have focused on vehicle fuel economy, petroleum use and production, vehicle sales, and traveler behavior. Facts on vehicle electrification and advanced combustion technologies have been more popular in the last few years, showing their relevance to the Department of Energy mission.
