Bio
Alberto Bocchinfuso is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at ORNL, working in the Multiscale Methods and Dynamics Group (Mathematics in Computation Section).
Alberto joined ORNL in 2023 after receiving his PhD in Applied Mathematics from , where he studied under the supervision of Daniela Calvetti and Erkki Somersalo. During his PhD, he conducted research about Bayesian inverse problems and model reduction.
Before moving to the US, Alberto also received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from and a a Master of Science in Automation and Control Engineering from .
