Deb Mallick

Post doctoral researcher

Dr. Debarghya (Deb) Mallick is a post-doctoral researcher with a background in quantum physics and materials science.  He holds expertise on device fabrication of various topological quantum materials and topological superconductors. He probes the quantum nature of these materials at low temperature using magnetic field and electrically characterize them. He has vast experience working in cleanroom atmosphere with various instruments and techniques, such as electron beam lithography, optical lithography, dry etching, wet etching, focused ion beam etc.

At ORNL, Deb is working with the quantum science center on topological superconductors to push the boundaries in the nascent field of fault-tolerant quantum computation.
