Bio
Franklin Parry is a well-rounded software developer with a specialty in process automation at the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) Data Center (ADC). He works to streamline daily operations for the Ingest, Operations, and Reprocessing Team as well as assist other teams so energy can be more properly focused on high-effort tasks.
Along with his automation efforts he works on both the ARM Data Retrieval Service (ADRS) resolving user issues and issues with the code base, and is integral to the High Performance Computing (HPC) utilization efforts of the ADC. By moving resource-intensive programs and apps to the HPC infrastructure he is able to more quickly complete processes and deliver data to users.
Frank has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Informatics from Indiana University and applies knowledge from both fields in his day-to-day work at ORNL
