Bio

Dr. Yumnam has a strong background in the study of magnetic thin-films and nanoscopic artificial lattices based on neutron scattering techniques, and he has also contributed significantly to the study of thermoelectric properties of both bulk and 2D materials based on density functional theory and Machine learning techniques. Currently, Dr. Yumnam utilizes neutron and x-ray scattering techniques as a probe to study hybrid excitations in quantum materials.
