Bio

Gordon Robertson is an assistant staff member in the disruptive manufacturing systems development group. He got a bachelor's and master's degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and joined the lab in 2021.
His work focuses on a mixture of additive manufacturing and cybersecurity. His additive work centers on developing laser powderbed fusion systems with advanced capabilities for faster and more reliable printing. His cybersecurity work is in partnership with CyManII on creating and enhancing cybersecurity tools for manufacturing.
