Heath McCartney is a technical staff associate within ORNL. In this position, Heath is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in PTC Creo and Windchill PDMLink systems and supports multiple projects in the mechanical design and detailing phases.
Professional Experience
Heath has over twenty years of mechanical design experience in various mechanical disciplines. Ranging from automation equipment to nuclear experiments, he has supported a project's progression through his knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Tolerance Stack Ups, Model Based Definition (MBD), and mechanical expertise. He has also grown his skills in 3D modeling and drafting practices, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both PTC Creo and Windchill PDMLink.
