Ian Stiefel joined ORNL in 2021 as a Senior Technical Professional electrical engineer in the Electrical, Instrumentation and Control Group of the Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate's Enrichment Science and Engineering Division.
A senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Stiefel received a National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation in 2016.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
