
Bio
Dr. Villanova was a postdoctoral research associate in the Nanomaterials Theory Institute in the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at 91°µÍø. He received his Ph.D. in theoretical condensed matter physics from the Department of Physics at Virginia Tech in 2018. He was formerly a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. His research focuses on the use of density functional theory to understand properties of topological materials and low-dimensional systems.
