Jonathan is a Software Engineer in the Software Engineering Group, within the Application Development Division at 91°µÍø, where he has been a key contributor since 2021. With a Ph.D. in Physics, Jonathan's doctoral research focused on decoding the intricate physical properties of ordered and disordered proteins that were subject to environmental and Darwinian pressures. His expertise seamlessly blends advanced scientific research with cutting-edge technical skills.
At Oak Ridge, Jonathan is a pivotal force behind the Environment for Analysis of Geo-Located Energy Information (EAGLE-Iâ„¢) project. He spearheads the development and maintenance of sophisticated data pipelines designed to collect, process, and analyze outage and customer data at scale. His role also encompasses data science and advanced research tasks, where his analytical acumen and innovative thinking drive insights that shape the future of energy resilience.
In addition to his work on EAGLE-Iâ„¢, Jonathan is a crucial player in the Wide Area Outage (WAO) project, harnessing the power of night-time satellite imagery to create predictive models of customer outages. His talents extend to the SecureRoute transport application, where he designs models that accurately assess and mitigate risk along critical shipping routes.
