Dr. Keisuke Fujii currently serves as a Senior R&D Staff Scientist at the Fusion Energy Division of 91°µÍø (ORNL). In this role, he leads pioneering research in plasma diagnostics for fusion energy—a field that demands the integration of advanced experimental techniques with sophisticated data analysis. His work focuses on developing and refining diagnostic systems such as Doppler spectrometers for tokamak divertors and novel machine learning–aided spectroscopic methods, which allow for precise measurements of plasma parameters. By applying principles from atomic, plasma, and statistical physics, Dr. Fujii has successfully enhanced the interpretation of complex spectroscopic data, contributing significantly to the progress of fusion energy research at a national level.
