
Bio
Kent Campbell is a Full-Stack Software Engineer within the Computer Science and Mathematics Division. Additionally he has been participating in the Climate Change Science Institute where he serves as Software Developer for the since 2020. Kent joined the in 2024 as a Programmer and Database Developer.
Prior to coming to ORNL, Kent worked as a programmer, analyst, and project lead in a diverse number of fields, including radiation detection, radiation protection, and hydrology and hydrodynamic modeling, while developing new software to support in-house and external projects, to perform quality checks on modeling outputs, and to improve user interface efficiency.
Kent received a B.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University of South Bend in 2007.
