Coordinate technical aspects of several nuclear material programs including Am, Cm, and Pu receipt from Savannah River, U-233 and Th-229 receipt and processing from Isotek, and nuclear material sampling and storage for the National Nuclear Material Archives. Coordinate nuclear material movements and storage activities with personnel from across ISED. Interact with personnel from other DOE laboratories/organizations regarding nuclear material movements and storage between DOE sites. Develop a detailed understanding of REDC facility utilization with focus on processing improvements and the development of e ciencies in production. Facilitate disposal of unneeded nuclear materials and associated wastes. Utilize and improve REDCs process monitoring software (ProDaaS). Provide regular project updates to management and sponsors.
