Nathan Rowe is a senior R&D staff member and the Verification Technologies Group Leader for the Nuclear Nonproliferation Division at 91°µÍø. Nathan has focused his career on technology development in support of nuclear safeguards and security applications. He is an electrical engineer by education with a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Tennessee. He has been a staff member at ORNL since 2009 working on a diverse set of technologies including tamper indicating devices, physical security sensors, radiation portal monitors, and non-destructive assay systems. From 2018 to 2021, he was a cost-free expert supporting the IAEA, in Vienna Austria, as a Containment Systems Engineer where he helped in the develop of the next generation of tamper indicating and detecting technologies.
