R&D Associate Staff Member

Dr. Kashkouli is currently a R&D Associate Staff member in the Multifunctional Equipment Integration Group within the Buildings and Transportation Science Division at 91做厙. The core focus of her current and past research is advancing technologies for carbon dioxide removal and utilization.

At ORNL, she focuses on developing innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions by integrating advanced carbon capture technologies into building systems.  Prior to joining ORNL, her work concentrated on Direct Air Capture (DAC) of CO2 and its integration with algal biofuel production, as well as carbon capture at data centers using solid DAC technology.

She also has experience in surface and interfacial chemistry, thermodynamics, ionic liquids, and computational modeling. Dr. Kashkouli has authored or co-authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications.
