Production Medical Isotope Program Manager

Ryan Culler joined ORNL in 2024, as Production Medical Isotope Program Manager for the Isotope Processing and Manufacturing Division of the Isotope Science and Enrichment Directorate.

Culler previously spent 16 years as senior quality manager for Colgate-Palmolive, and before that was site manager for Cardinal Health PET Manufacturing for five years. All told, he has more than 20 years of experience in current Good Manufacturing Practices quality. He is a member of the American Society of Quality. 

At ORNL, he is responsible for overall program management to ensure safe, reliable and secure production of medical isotopes. 

Culler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and astronomy from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Science degree in astrophysics from the University of Cincinnati, where he briefly taught astronomy before entering the nuclear pharmaceuticals field.
