Postdoctoral Research Associate

Postdoctoral Research Associate at Data NanoAnalytics (DNA) Group, Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences (CNMS). My research focuses on developing autonomous workflows to study pathogen-surface interactions through Atomic Force Microscopy. The workflows involve object detection, image segmentation and other machine learning (ML) algorithms for automatic characterization of pathogenic entities on biotic and abiotic surfaces.

Earlier, I worked on structure- and ligand- based drug discovery techniques combined with ML tools for drug repurposing in Tuberculosis. I also worked on protein designing and protein modification using ML and Deep Learning tools on important therapeutic targets like nuclear receptors and CRISPR-Cas proteins at University of North Texas (UNT) and University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC)
