Hello
I am a technician in the Fracture Mechanics Lab, a subsidiary of the Advanced Nuclear Materials Group. I grew up in North Carolina, and applied to ORNL thanks to having gone on a tour of the facilities while in college at NCSU. I was inspired by my grandfather Ted Maione, an electrical engineer at Bell labs, to pursue math and science professionally. I enjoy my work here, as I have always had a strong interest in nuclear energy, and now find myself able to aid others in the pursuit of the future of reactor technology. I enjoy cooking, music, and spending time with friends.
