Bio
Yifan Liu is a postdoctoral researcher within the Materials Science and Technology Division at 91°µÍø. Her primary research focus is on developing and implementing computational methods to explore ion and proton transitions. She earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023. Bringing a decade of expertise, Liu has conducted extensive computational simulations using first-principles theory and molecular dynamics across a variety of materials, including high-entropy alloys, molecules, packaging processes, nanoglasses, carbon materials, and zeolites. Additionally, she possesses significant experience in integrating machine learning with first-principles studies for the prediction of material properties and the development of new potentials.
