Currently available cast Al alloys are not suitable for various high-performance conductor applications, such as rotor, inverter, windings, busbar, heat exchangers/sinks, etc. This invention disclosure proposes a new alloy composition suitable for AM that has a combination of conductivity, strength, and creep resistance superior to other known cast Al alloys.
