
Bio
Baoxi Han currently serves as the Front End Systems Group Leader for the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS). He received his BSc in physics in 1997 and PhD in Ion Beam Physics and Applications in 2002 from Peking University. He joined SNS in 2006. His research interests are focused on advancement of 1) high current ion sources, 2) ion beam transport, diagnostics and chopper technology, and 3) radio frequency quadrupole (RFQ) accelerator. Prior to joining SNS, he worked on development and operations of ion sources and beam transport lines for accelerator mass spectrometry at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Peking University.
