Bio
Blake Van Hoy is senior R&D staff with the Enrichment Science and Engineering Division of the Isotope Science and Engineering Directorate. He has been with ORNL since 2010.
Blake's research interests and areas of expertise include mechanical dynamics; vibration and acoustic measurements; rotating machinery diagnostics; modal analysis; and seismic measurements. He is a member of both the Vibration Institute and the Society of Experimental Mechanics.
Before joining ORNL, Blake was an engineering specialist in the Product Certification Division of the Y-12 National Security Complex.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University.
