My research lies at the intersection of quantum physics and information theory. Specifically, I am interested in understanding quantum many-body systems, their potential technological applications, as well as their real-world complexity. This includes topologically ordered condensed matter systems, potentially acting as quantum memories, and entangled quantum matter, with applications to computation and ultra-precise metrology. To quantitatively understand these varied and complex phenomena, I employ multi-linear-algebraic computational methods.
