
Bio
Katherine Johnson joined ORNL in 2020 as a Postdoctoral Research Associated in the Chemical Separations Group in the Chemical Sciences Division focusing on the separation of critical materials. In 2022, she joined the Fuel Cycle Chemical Technology Group as a staff member and is involved in a variety of projects relating to fuel cycle chemistry. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry for her research in leveraging luminescent lanthanide complexes for cellular imaging and photodynamic therapy of cancer cells from the University of Nevada, Reno.
