Licia Amichi

R&D Scientist

Dr. Licia Amichi is a researcher within the Location Intelligence Group at 91°µÍø (ORNL), operating under the National Security Sciences Directorate. Her research expertise lies in the advanced modeling and analysis of human mobility behaviors, with a keen interest in understanding deviations from established routine patterns. Her work aims to deepen our understanding of how individuals navigate and interact within diverse environments, offering valuable insights for a wide range of applications.

Dr. Amichi completed her PhD at the French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation () and in France. In addition to her specialization in human mobility, Dr. Amichi has extensive experience in network systems, particularly focusing on spectrum and energy-efficient resource allocation in Long Range Wide Area Networks (LoRaWAN). This work was conducted at the , Japan.

Dr. Amichi's broad research interests include human mobility modeling, geographical data analysis, artificial intelligence, and the optimization of network systems.
