Bio
Luc Dessieux is a research and development associate in the neutron scattering division. His current scientific interests are in the field of materials science, crystallography, and computer modeling; particularly in developing models of neutron scattering in real material with the potential to have parameters, that can be used to refine other models to get quantitative results from neutron measurements. He received his PhD in physics from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Prior to joining NSD, where he held a postdoctoral research appointment, Luc worked as a computer programmer in the industry.
