Bio

Qiu is the lab research support technician for biology labs at SNS, and the Lab Space Manager (LSM) of SNS user labs and some of programmatic labs at SNS/Shull Wollan Center. As the lab research support technician, her work mostly focus on protein purification and characterization. As the LSM, she supports both internal and external users with sample preparation and management services including user laboratory training, laboratory support, sample handling support, sample disposal, chemical management, equipment maintenance, etc.. She received her M.S. degree in Microbiology from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and M.S. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Hubei University in China.
