Induction cooktops are becoming popular; however, a limitation is that compatible cookware is required. This is a significant barrier to its adoption.
Compatible cookware includes ferromagnetic pots and pans. Generally, aluminum and copper and non-magnetic stainless-steel pots and pans cannot be used along with induction cooktop. This work proposes a circuit configuration that enables all types of metallic cookware to be used in induction cooktops.
